The 2015–16 Golden State Warriors season is the ongoing 70th season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA), and their 54th in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Warriors entered the season as the defending NBA champions. The Warriors opened the season with four wins and a combined margin-of-victory of 100 points, surpassing the 1961–62 Boston Celtics (99 points) for the largest win-margin over the first four season games.
